Great racing Such a mixed field of cars as well, what happened to so many of these race cars in the low parts of the field the civics corollas astras etc?

That Astra in the "low" part of the field they overtook won the Championship

Louise Aitken-Walker driving a similar GTE 16v came 5th in the Championship

More Astras in the Top 5 places that year of the Championship than the legendary E30 M3!

I have the 88-91 BTCC and the 90-92 DTM (English Commentary) on VHS. All came from eBay. The 90 BTCC is a bit washed out colour wise. But it's watchable.

When I work out how to get it from VHS to DVD to an Avi file less than a gb. I'll contemplate spending a day uploading them

Which race was it when one of the RS500s broke a prop when it was flat out and literally "pole-vaulted" on it across the track?

Remember seeing it at the time
