Power is measured at the wheels, then corrected to get the guesstimated fly figure, sometimes very very badly like in this case.
Why you believe your car has nearly twice the losses as it should has me baffled.
Irrespective, it's what's going to the road that counts, so yours is no quicker than a 307bhp evo, no matter what you think yours is actually producing.

Can't wait to see how this thread turns out, should be funny...

Short answer - A believable loss calculation, not one made up to make idiots happy.

Same as the owners handbooks, which are wrong too.
Those figures are PS, not a problem on a 90ps fiesta, but as you can see up around 300 is 5bhp on the evo, which struggles to make that, never mind the incorrect 321 so a bit unfair on them.

it may have that power it may not, chill out ffs. if it feels quick enough on the road,so be it.

ps, was your first post meant for e36 coupe forum matt? you certainly aint new on here.lol

Not many Evo's got close to BMW's stated power figure though, I think they over-stated it a fair bit.

Whereas 3.0's would more than often show a bit more than stated power!

i may be wrong but the 321 is for the lhd cars and rhd never made that power something to do with the layout of the engine bay

Thats what figures i always thought was right too. My dad took a Toyo cup M3 Evo up north to be rolling roaded a couple of weeks ago, made just under 350bhp, it had a remap, not sure what else.

Downpipes I reckon.

Rossco - Germans use PS, converted to English (bhp) it's 316.
I know everywhere says 321 bhp, is a minute amount between din and bhp, but adds up when in the 100's.
Guess no one bothered to convert.

The ATW figure is spot on, why not be happy that a standard car makes standard power?

Chip and decat would get nowhere near, talking cams and live map and carbon airbox etc to get close to that.
Big money to tune these as they're on 100ps per litre NA.

so if the normal wheel figure for the motor is aorudn the 260 mark then he's got a normal car

i can't see why everyone is up in arms about it other than the owner who thinks it's made 350 odd
