Any one into them on here? Was thinking of getting one myself but question i have is a Muppet of a neighbour has got one and is shooting it off right behind my back garden which has an open ditch. My 2 year old plays out the back most evenings. Just want to know is there a law saying they shouldn't be discharged near residential before i confront him. He's a dick head so it could come to blows!! Unless he shoots me with his gun!

In essence as long as hes not within 50 feet of centre of highway and his pellets stay within his land then you cant do much to be honest.

If hes shooting holes through your garden fence then thats a different matter

id be going to have a word , law or no fucking law ,

just explain your concern about shooting in close proximity to your kid ,

if he acts funny , shove it up his ass

not sure on the laws in gardens ect used to shoot mine at the old house but had open feilds over the back fence so wasnt an issue
better off if you have somwhere to shoot before you get one saves shooting at neighbours cat ect

YOU DO HEAR horror stories where kids get shot by accident by tossers who think they know best until they put a shot in the vitals.

it happened to a mate on a canal in chester,they warned the bloke with the air gun he was far too close shooting,then a pellet comes about 5 feet away in the river by them so his bird calls the rozzers and they sent out a tactical firearms squad who did not fuck around,they were on the blower with all the sirens on coming down after as much info to get to the correct spot and they got the bloke and took him away.
fella deserved it for firing too close to people,if a polite word does no good i would inform the old bill and your council or mp if they do nowt matey.
