Default 4wd vs 2wd water pump

I am thinking of using a 2wd water pump and thermostat housing on my escos. I need all new hoses anyway. Does anyone know if i can just swap it over? Also will i need anything else? I prefer the look of the 2wd bits 4x4 looks busy and messy.

You'll also need the 2WD metal pipe that runs between bulkhead and water pump (runs next the head above the exhaust manifold)

Obviously all the 2WD hoses and a 2WD header tank.

I don't think so, I did a 4x4 to 2wd swap on my mates old 4x4 sapp and never had any problems with anything catching.
