Default Unregistered shells

Hey, just out of curiosity, can anybody tell me how hard it would be to get hold of an unregistered mk3/4 escort 3 door shell? Or if its even heard of for these to surface from time to time?

Cheers all

Dont suppose you can still get hold of 3/4/5 fiesta shells brand new?

Cheers for the reply!

More chance of a 3-some with the Queen Mother and Gandhi mate than to get a Mk3 shell - occasionally a Mk4 may come up but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I think in fairness even a Mk4 new shell is gonna be nigh on impossible to find.

Good luck in trying though!

Yeah, zetec engie matched up to a quattro drivetrain from a tt!, Im sure it is a mk3.5 fiesta that has a mk5 body shell underneath... The bloke is a propper perfectionist and made comments that the mk5 shell has more reinforcement, so rebuilt his mk3 on a mk5 shell... ill post a link to the thread on my lunch!

I ocasionally have a look on ebay, but like you lot say, the chances are slim.... haha.

Im not gonna hold my breath... Gotta admit an 09 reg mk4 escort would be cool as hell lol... Modern day rst! With a zetec turbo... Maybe independant rear suspension from a focus? ive no idea.... Just old school looks and modern technology, built properly from the ground up, sounds good to me!
