I'm the guy who actually took those pictures, 3 in total, posted them over at mg-rover.org's general chat and on my twitter.
the driver was about 60, grey hair.
I was about to drive out when I saw it arrive.
got out a took 3 pictures
I was going to barryboy it but barrys wont accept web based email accounts.
the car is as bad as it looks.

It was originally going to be based of a rover V8 then changed to V6 and had 2 huge turbo's fitted to give in the region of 650 bhp as in Will Gollops rally x car.
Can,t believe you don't believe that one is genuine though.

Familier with a tuned rover v8 as my brother in law hill climbed a rear wheel drive 205 dimmer. Will have to dig pics out, I think we should really cut this kid some slack. But then again it is funny!!!! The max power, burburry wearing chav!!!
