Burton's taking the piss!
well just under eight weeks ago i ordered some samcos for the mondy and was orginaly told within a week. so a couple of weeks went past and i was thinking were are they,
but the thing is when i ordered them i left my phone number for them to ring me about any problems which they have never done
its always me ringing them saying were are they ect......so after eight weeks im getting quite understandably annoyed.....
rant over
anyone else had problems with these guys?

Ghigo, I was in the toilet earlier so checked the catalog and it said only blue Samco hoses are in stock, all other colours are special order and delivery will take longer. So was it blue or not you ordered?

However I will say that I find the Samco stuff by far the best quality out of the mainstream hose suppliers!! When you compare like for like kits from other manufacturers.
Also, going straight to Samco will draw a total blank as they will just refer you to one of their dealers as they do not sell directly to the public and never have done.
I would personally contact Andy Burton at Burtons and have a whinge!! He may give you a voucher or something! But the fault lies with Burtons for misleading you on the delivery time!

I would suspect that Burtons did not have your hoses in stock when you ordered them. Samco quote 4-6 weeks to their dealers for hoses and kits. Though this can go over in many cases as I have experienced.

what he said.
I had to wait 10 weeks for a set from my M3. what made it bearable was it was a Group Buy through a forum. They are made in Wales. Send to the US then shipped back to me. CHEAPER than getting them direct from Samco!

Burton's disastrous customer service!
I'm another pissed off client. I ordered some parts, actually amounting to a good sum of money! I needed some info before and it took me about 2 weeks to get the replies I needed.
Now that I made my order they've sent me an email saying they had a problem to charge my card. With my order I wrote them a note saying that the amount should be divided and charged in 2 separate days (like they did before!) because my VISA has a limit. This was last week. My card still not charged, no replies and I only need their parts to start my work on the gearbox. Even to get paid they piss you off??!!
I never had these problems before with Burton.
