Default Funny problem, help needed on 51 plate Mondeo TDCi

Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem, drove the car earlier and all was fine, just been out in it and there a funny rubbling noise that i can feel (only)through my left foot when it's resting on the clutch pedal, if i press the pedal 20-30mm the rumble gets worse, but if i hold the revs at about 1300rpm the rumble goes completely. The car has only done 42k miles with full service etc, i bought the car of a mate 10 months ago and he had it from 9k til i had it on 36k so i'm quessing it's still on the original clutch.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers Ginger

Cheers Ron, had a feeling it was that, is it a new flywheel or are the spring replaceable.

P.S if it's the full fly wheel any idea of the cost???

cheers again

sounds like dual mass has started to go mate, loads of motors i deal with at work that have dual mass flywheels all start doing it i think there a very poor design, as said by jb 3 door if you can get a solid flywheel conversion i definatley would.
