Default Mountune 185 conversion for Fiesta ST

Mate of mine has just had his Fiesta ST done. Went for a spin last night and what can be said?

It's brilliant! Why the Hell didn't Ford do that from the factory it would have been a bombshell for the competition. It pulls hard and fast through the gears with a nice smooth torque curve from about 3k through to the red line. It does seem to have flattened things off a bit below 3k so you can't drive it in the lazy fashion he did before but that's suck a small price to pay.

Nice work Dave and Co at Mountune, thoroughly impressed

Many reasons Ford wouldn't do this.. cost, emissions, insurance groups. Considering 99.9% of ST150 owners won't be going for the Mountune conversion, I think it's fair!

It's a post-registration upgrade so it doesn't affect tax banding, emissions etc.

It also runs in harmony with your Ford warranty, and comes with its own separate parts warranty, too.
