Alot of people saying these cars are crap won't actually have any experience of them. Things have moved on. I'd rather have a new Astra Sri diesel to get about in than an old Ford escort xr3 or whatever it is you'll defend to the grave because it's a FORD and this is a FORD forum and you wear FORD merchandise and your dog has a FORD baseball cap.

Seriously the LP Range of Range Rovers and Discovery 1 and 2 were terrible(to work on), newer stuff with Ford engines/electrics are terrible too.

My re-badged BMW X5 is ok though

I detest the Nissan Micra and all who drive it. If you see a Micra on the road, watch it because it WILL do something fucking stupid and/or dangerous.

These are cars for people who say "a car is just something that gets you from A to B". This kind of person is a shit driver.

So Nissan, who are just Datsun renamed. I don't hate all their cars, but I hate them for producing the Micra

I'm not keen on how french cars 'feel' to drive if that makes sence, although I won't deny they usually handle very well! My S2 feels 'nicer' to drive than my sisters 206 IMO. Not too keen on Fiat's either

French cars are so badly designed & built. I had a megane convertible in today for a few jobs & its one of the worst cars i have ever driven. everything is either over or under engineered but in the wrong way round i.e a 4mm steel bracket held on with 2 8mm bolts just to cable tie a wiring loom to whereas an engine mount is made from tinfoil
and dont get me started on the electrics
