so for example, could you buy a escos shell with no ID and swap all the bits over and keep the reg of the saff?

cos they either dont intend for it to go bk on the road ( track ) , they have an id for that car (ie reshell cos into cos )

or they just have a cossie id lying around lol

Don't bother, you are paying a lot of extra ŁŁ just for a prettier car , spend the cash on a decent beam etc

I have no problems with handling and i preffer how a saff feels over an escort, BUT an escort cosworth is an escort cosworth, but i know my car so would be good if i could put it into a escos

Yours looks like a really nice saff, shame to break it up! Would be far cheaper and you would end up with a better car if you just sold yours and bought a nice one to start with.

If the shell is legit with a receipt you should be able to SVA it, its likely to end up a Q plate though obviously.
