started my car up and ive got this really loud funny noise and the cars sittin at 3000 revs?

It looks a bit close to that filter.Is the timing belt too tight.

Take your alternator belt off and check it again just in case your alternator in nackered.

nah its not clo0se to the air filter, well the thing is it was fine b4, but i have timed up the car recenly so could this b the problem as its idling really high

I would check to see if the timing belt is too tight.Then double check your timing marks.

Do the revs not drop off after a few seconds then.

nope they start low then after like a second they went up so after a few seconds i turned off the car any way incase i did any damage

right losened it a little and the revs dropped. but still making the same noise took it 4 a spin and when i accelerate its stops but does not boost it sorta jerks around when it its the boost someone help me please
