Hi all,
I'm thinking about buying a Series 1 but i was wondering what people think about me using it as a daily driver.
Does anybody use theirs most days and whats it like to live with.
Thanks for any info you give.
Jay

they can be, and can do them the world of good to keep everything moving and in use.
a site you need to visit is www.seriesoneturbo.co.uk
a few of the lads use them as daily drivers, but a few things to remember:
No power steering - can be a pain
easily stolen and are worth a good bit in parts making them a target
not as relaible compared to a modern car - overheating etc in traffic
parts are harder to source
Still, a decent car should be fine to use if looked after as a day to day car, and plenty to choose from, would not use a mint example, but a 4 - 5k solid useable S1 will bring many happy miles
