Off to euro diseny on tuesday taking the wifes s max down just phoned the insurance and they want 38 quid for the full cover which i think is a rip off .Iwill be insured over there third party only iv driven over there twice before no probs so might say fook the green card ,any one done this cheers.

Your Insurance company are legally obliged to provide the minimum legal cover to drive on European roads on ANY policy - in this case it is third party liability. If you want more cover then you have to pay for it

Make sure you get European roadside recovery. £40 for 3 days seems expensive until you get hit with a bill for a few hundred if it happens!

We have got the full aa break down cover 26 pound and just talked to the wife and we are going to go on the third party bit of our policey im not paying 38 pound for 3 days.
