Hope it's Arsenal v Barca final for Footballs sake...with Liverpool in and about.

I'll openly say Utd and Chelsea have the best squads on the planet, but it's actually getting boring a couple years in now, all due respect football is dieing 'cos of it IMO. Much as you can't argue with the methods tapping up the game financially and on technicalities takes away ALL the entertainment.

why dont you look at the FACTS(something not only the manager of your beloved team seems to like seems like the fans too) but barca werent at there best when you lot met them.

Barca's run to the semi that year was cetic, schalke, then scum, so they didnt have to be vintage barca to get there did they you peanut none of them teams are anything special, also 10 of barca players were going through divorce last season with most the big names didnt want to play for the coach at the time who was rijkard who then inevitably got him the sack in the end this was well publicised!! and most importantly finished 3RD in there league 10points behind 2ND and 18 points behind 1ST (Real Madrid) but they still dominated both games and you got a lucky win, its easy saying we beat barca because barca are WELL KNOWN it sounds good but when you look at it was not a surprise, they were crap that season league position alone shows it. Keep telling yourself you played well in that 4-1 mate, keep believing Edwin was diving around all over the place and that you had more ball, corners, territory etc. All you did that was good was finish chances put on your plate and you know it. Played well my arse. Even Wenger said the same, flattered he said, United dominated large parts of the game. Both teams were crap, Both keepers had little to do and you got a red card win again just like Chelsea (yes the phantom one) and us at Anfield + Wigan and the 3/4 others with red cards.

As for the Champions league, well if you won't say Lyon won their league many times in a row and Inter Milan on for a third straight title are good teams then you can't use league form for Real Mardrid and their last 10 games etc. League and CL are two different competitions, you can use their current standing as an idea but thats it doesn't mean they will perform like that in Europe. After all when you won it in 2005 you finished 5th in Premiership behind E V E R T O N and failed to qualify, so it means shit.Fact of the matter is last year Chelsea spanked you lot out and we beat them in the final so case closed trophy is ours.
