I love the stupid e-mails and questions when selling cars. I had some right fucking idiots when I sold my old A4.

i either tell them i sold it dirt cheap to piss them off or just say got the asking price.


or car for sale at £10500 for instance
"will you take 10 grand cash for it?"

me-"aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!"

then there is the witheld number-always asians
"whats the best price for cash on the car"
i tell them a price and if they dont like it they put the phone down-how ignorant!

 

sold my s2 turbo on weds, been on pistonheads for a few weeks for £4.5k ono, first mail was "will u take 3k, can pick it up tomorrow". i didnt reply, then i had "£3200?" i didnt reply then last 1 off the muppet was "£3200, a box of stella and a box of crisps" to which i asked what flavour crisps, twat replied " so we have a deal then, whats your postcode". i didnt reply, muppet

 

When selling my 4x4 Cossie enigine on ebay had a guy email me saying how much to end early. I stated it was advetised elsewhere for £1250 so would have to be that.

He got me fuming when he replied "Are you having a fucking laugh? Its not worth more than £700, it hasnt even got a clutch!"

I emailed him later to say I got my £1250 asking price.

 

have had that a few times, and yep, tell them mega under the asking price, im sure that pisses them off, or the next one they look at and tell the seller one went for £xxxx amount when the cars worth 3 or 4 times that

 

muppets! i had people weeks after my car sold ringing for it and asking how much i got for it!
