the sizes youve written is centimetres i assume? if so id round it upto 8 sq metres of flooring needed to allow for wasteage and off cuts. it adds up to just under 7 sq metres tight.

well from your mesurments you've got 6.47 metres squared so if the packs contain 1 each you need 7 packs

as on the other post, don't skimp on boards just to get them to fit. finish the job nicely with even joints etc. shouldn't matter if you buy too much, just take the extra back

use the offcut from the previous row to start the next so that the joints in each row are staggered and less waste.

Spiky i like Carpet too, but in hall i fancy Wood as i know i would get the carpet there dirty as i came in.

you lay the laminate? Hard part of my house in laying it in hall is the bit around the stairs as it curves around.. Hmmmm Not sure what to do. Can you remember what my hall floor looks like? As wether it would be fine putting wood on it?

you can always tell the difference between a diy job and professional fitting. the detail around the door frames, rad pipes etc gives it away.

work on 20% mate then round it up to the next pack.
What you fitting mate?
Laminate, solid wood or engineered?
I've dealt with loads of different manufacturers and know what's good and easy to do and what's a pain in the cock end to fit
If you need any info mate i'll be on xbl later.
