Taking the fiesta RS for an MOT soon, have noticed that one of the lower lights on the front bumper isnt working . will get a bulb, but wondered if it could fail on this as heard mixed opinions?

As said if fitted must work, easy to pop a bulb in though, take bulb with you, tester may let it pass if he sees you are going to fix it.

thanks for your reply, think ill get a buld fitted to be on the safe side, but im still not convinced, I thought only the rear fog lamp had to work and the head lights, indicaters etc, didnt think the front fogs were a necessity to be working.

How the fuck is that a fail, foglight isn't it?
If fitted must work is such a load of bollocks, so much it doesn't apply to.

Thats what i thought, sisters MK5 fiesta passed with a blown bulb on her fog light. Tester said as it is not a side/main light they pass them.

My old M3 had 2 cats that didn't work, but passed 4 years running, so there's another example lol.

Case in question is 100% not tested.

my car passed with a front fog not working. Reverse lights are also not on the test so you can pass without reverse lights working too
