Witnessed something horrendous :( - WARNING - upsetting content.
Absolutely horrendous. On Sunday, my mates next door neighbour let her kittens out for the first time in the rear garden.
She came out the front, started up her car reversed off of her drive and drove by us, stopped to have a chat...
My mate looked back and said - your cats throwing a spastic...it had jumped the fence and fallen asleep / run over to see her as she was reversing off the drive and she had reversed straight over its body.
Its tail and legs were fitting and eyes were bulging, it was horrendous and she went absolutely hysterical. It was horrible!! It was worse when the penny dropped and she realised she had done it! It died within a minute...
anyway i've got that off my chest now!

Reminds me of when my cat got run over and coupled with having to deal with the fact that my cat was dead, I had to clear the mess up too.

Thats horrible Poor moo must be heartbroken.
My ex-girlfriend did the same, reveresed over it and it ran off, fitted for a minute then passed away, she was in bits about it for ages.
A very horrible thing to happen

i had that when i was younger, my sister had 2 kittens, only a few months old, i reversed my transit spec out of the drive & they were asleep behind the rear wheels, 1 started fitting & died in my hands, the other one has shot through the hedge & died in the neighbours garden
i felt really bad as my sister had just paid for all their injection etc & was gutted at losing them, she thought i was winding her up when i told her
then a friend got me a book, 101 uses of a dead cat

I spotted a cat in the middle of the road just after it got squahsed by a van. It was properly weird.....still alive and it was spazzing out(like nerves twitching) catapulting itself about 10ft of the floor whilst screaming like mad.

I know what you mean about getting something off your chest... I had to collect a dog the other day that had to be destroyed by Co19 after it went for anyone that went near it.. Wrapped the poor fella in a blanket and took him to the vets... very sad. Went home and made a right fuss of my dog. Not nice.

Terrible story, makes me feel awful. I remember when I ran over a cat. He ran out from nowhere. I raced him down the vets, and as we arrived he pissed himself, and died. I was screaming in tears saying 'Their was nothing I could do, he just ran out' over and over. Even they they reassured me I'd done nothing wrong, I kept repeating it.

When I was a kid my mom did the same, the cat was asleep on top of the back wheel and bought it when she reversed off the drive.. It too lasted about a min or so I had to pick it up and put it in a black bag as my mom was going nuts.

I hit a cat one night, hadn't long passed my test, died on impact i assume, it jumped out from the hedge, striaght into my bumper, emergency stopped and the poor wee bastard was 10 yards up the road. Had to lift him up and throw it to the bottom of the hedge, was late at night, no one around, thought it was best putting it there as opposed to leaving it in the road.
Shit happens i guess.

I ran over my mums cat with my series 1 many years ago,to make things worse my mum was sat in the car with me, the cat ran off, we found her that night hid in someones garden, we managed to get her home and keep her comfortable till the morning, the vet said nothing was broken and she made a full recovery
I felt really bad for ages, was just a accident, cat strolled infront of the car

nightmare, you'd feel so bad, especially as it didn't die straight away.
My old mad drove over me when I was a kid - no joke!! he was in a van, I tried to jump in it and slipped underneath, ran over my leg that was bent so when over the shin and the thigh!!!
Lucky I was fine, but had a wicked tyre impression for a few days!!

when i was a we lad our cat had to be put down,
my mum bought it home as it was my cat, and she knew i would want to say goodbye, so it came home in a box, i picked the cat up crying and cuddled it, and then all its piss came rushing out on me, so theres me holding a dead cat covered in piss and tears not funny at the time, but i understand my dad laughing
