Put the largest memory chunk in the first slot then add the next smallest next to it.
Then try.
Also, are you sure you have connected it correctly? Does it click into place?

Ade, I have 2x256mb PC133 SDR/CL3 cars to insert, they click into place nicely, once is higher than the other though in actual size
My old card says PC100 but it's also CL2

I have tried putting one of the new chunks in (main?) slot and old one in other and vice versa using all different ways
It will only recognise the old one

from what cabrioturbo posted, it should work
unless your motherboard requires your processor clock speed to match the memry clock speed? i know a few shitty ones do
also has the mobo got jumpers on it? you may have to set the clock speed on there manually...

you will have to look in the mother board manual and see if it has 'jumper settings' in there.. they are just little conectorsa which need swapping over dependant on the clock speed.. i know my old P75 needed this doing.. but the old P3 packard bell motherboard i had didnt.. Thread
