Default is this dodgy ?just sold a turbo quad on ebay and got this msg .....

basically sold the item and emailed the geezer the invoice last nite . then got a reply this morning saying

"can i hav the reg number, vin number, v5 serial number, doc reference number, date of issue "

now why would you need these details other than doing something dodhy with them ??

only reason i can think is so he can hpi it and cross reference the numbers on his hpi!!

but personnaly i wouldnt give all that to him untill hes there with the pennies, he can hpi the quad at your house

Hpi check

As said done give him all the info untill the deal is done, or you at least have a deposit.

All he needs for now is the Reg and vin, to see if its hpi clear.

the other details he only needs to make the HPI gurantee contract.
(if you provide all the details hes asking for, HPI will gurantee the report and if there is anything wrong after the purchase the HPI are legally oblidges to pay out!)

Wouldnt say hes dodgy tho, if anything he sounds more genuine as hes doing it all properly. But do as we have said that way your back is covered
