Default windows live mail?
all of sudden, it's stopped working
i click to open it, it's does soemthing, then stops again

any ideas pealse?

delete all temp files and reboot.

failing that try again later.

tools > internet options > Delete Temp Files, History & Cookies etc...

OK what I am trying to say is, it's probably not an issue with your machine, just with Live Mail.

Try again another time.
