Swedish plenums?
Who actually developt these? Are these actually proven to be better the o.e inlet plenums (the 4x4,st and 500 ones?)The reason i ask is that ford must of spent tens of thousands developing the inlet plenums, where as i can not see a private independent company having this sort of funds to spend to do the same testing?
Would be interesting to get peoples thoughts or if any one has hard facts etc

The Swedish plenum is less of a flow restriction than a stock one.

Even flow to each cylinder can be tested on any flow bench.

I doubt ford would of tested the items to levels of boost that the cars a running today, hence why they didnt make a better tiem as it woud of shown no benefits and standard items are not a restriction on stnadard cars.
Didnt cosworth de tune the yb at fords request?
would like to know how they came about though

They were indeed aske to reduce the power. I don't know exactly how much they had but there was enough to break free of the rollers at the end of the production line in dagenham during a demonstration
