Depends where from. Haven't look lately but you could pay over 2k for complete engine. box, loom, ecu and ancillaries. What are you trying to do?
You can get the frs short block from form for £800 + vat trade - add your own turbo, st170 head, manifolds, fmic, and have more power for less money

guy on here is wanting 1400 for his ening inc manifolds and turbo
didn't think that was to terrible tbh, just a bit more than i was wanting to spend on 1 just now
