Default Recaro seat Fabric/Cloth Where from?

I need to source some of the original (or nearest match to) material to do the piping on a standard Escort Cosworth Seat.

Can anyone recommend any companies that might have some in stock?

didn't you post up about recaros before matey?? how did you get on ??

the fella i told you about has done piping for me before and its not a easy job as all the piping needs unstitching and then new putting in.

i just remembered you had a split in the stitching on a hex recaro, hope its all sorted mate.

Yes mate got a local(ish) guy to sort it and he done a top job.

I now wanna get the piping done on my Drivers seat. He can do it but he didnt have any material to match up the original stuff. So what im looking for is if someone can supply me the exact of near enough match for colour.

I will then get my man to unstich my old seat and repair the dodgy bit.

Thanks for you help so far

if your stuck and want the very best job done and can't find the correct material i have ended up buying a trim and useing what i needed and then minting up the new interior and selling it on as is without mentioning i have used a piece of trim or piping.
its the only way i'm affraid. that said its surprising where gen for material turns up, my mate can get hold of rolls direct from ford, he has all sorts of recaro trim material on the roll. i have asked for you about piping but no can do.

ok Karl thanks for trying

The piping is almost like Alcanara on the Escos seat, in a very dark grey.

Oh well perhaps someone else will see this and might be able to help.

Thanks anyway

the piping on a lux cloth escort cos is a very soft tactile cloth material, its a shame your piping is up the duff and not the actual seat material for the bolsters as i can get hold of that off the roll no probs.
