Default Converting N/A CVH block to Turbo?

What would need to be done?
I've got a set of std size rst pistons/rods and a crank all mint and a low mileage xr3i engine with mint bores. Cant afford to buy a turbo block atm so I'm thinking about swapping the pistons into the 3i block and drilling an old return in.
Anyone done this?
