Default R33 as a daily hack ?

I've been seriously considering getting one for my drive to and from work to make it more exciteable / enjoyable.

I've been offered a straight swop for my car from a garage 58k totally standard very tidy.

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons to these and tell me if im stupid for wanting one for the daily hack.

Overall mileage is 42 miles per day by the way !

A Skyline for a 'daily hack'?

Oh dear. Lol

What one are you thinking of getting? Both the decent ones cost a fortune to run.

Depends how deep your pockets are mate - i've had a couple of friends use them as daily drivers and they could do a tank in 200 miles just pootling around...

They are inherently thirsty cars!

A GTR in std trim will be fine as a daily driver provided you can afford to service it meticulously and dreadful fuel consumption.

Only servicing obviosly. It got a fair bit of stick too lol.

My r33 gtr skyline was not bad on fuel. I did not use it for a every day car but would use one.

Actually a little better than evos but drop oil every 3k, always get car up to temp before using any boost and for last 2 miles of your daily trip keep revs down and no boost and check oil level regularly and you will be fine. I did 7k miles in my 34 as my daily driver when it was stg1 400bhp and it never missed a beat till it spun a bearing while I was donuting it!

Mine was also stage 1 RR 405.6Hp.

Didnt do things like donuts though lol

I probably done 15000 miles in it and never missed a beat. quite comfortable for an old car too.
