stocks and shares people need a bit of assistance
Basically i have 100 shares in Imperial Energy Corporation ( iec )
They got bought out at an agreed price of 1250p a share
now ive found info on the net thats says,
now i fall into the red text part so that should have been around the 1st of feb.
Any idea how a get a nice cheque for £1250 ??

OVL needs to pay to all the shareholders of Imperial Energy within 14 days of the December 30, who have tendered their shares. For the rest of shareholders, they will be paid after 14 days of the closure of the open offer, sources said."
Any idea how a get a nice cheque for £1250 ??

still cant find any info???
think the shares were bought via lloyds share dealing, if so, do you think i can walk into a lloyds with the certificate and they will know what i need to do??

you need to get the certs into a local broker who will sell them for you afaik.
i normally dont do certs as if you lose them or house burns down you have a mountain of trouble.

cheers all sorted hopefully, phoned up got an address, just need to send the certificate off, with a cover letter, and should get a nice cheque back!
