Not hard, can be a bit fiddly, but usually by the time the seals are shot the h/brake pivot is mostly seized, I just swap them for exchange as cheap enough.

it's probably cheaper to buy recon calipers as all the kits i've found included a new piston at around the £40 mark where as recon calipers are only £50
