Has a stage 3 Ahmed chip, and it's a 4x4 with L8 ecu, is this ok???
EDITED as I just looked at the emissions results the CO was slightly lower than first thought.

Well it has but a long time ago, what's the best way to adjust this/check where the problem is??? I'm 99% sure it's something that's not set right as the car has been totally overhauled and most of the parts are new. I don't think there is actually a fault anywhere.

If it was OK before the overhaul, and isn't now, then something has changed - possibly a replacement part (like a sensor) is defective.
Is the fuel pressure OK at normal and at fast idle?
Is it a green or red top ECU? Are you using a lambda sensor if it's a red top ECU? If so, is the lambda sensor new?

All the sensors are new bar the lambda which is about 3 years old, it was running bad before it was rebuilt, but i never had that diagnosed as I was replacing everything anyway. It's a greentop engine, has no cat.
What I mean by there is no fault, is that I find it VERY hard to believe that something is broken if it's new.
Bar playing with the screw on the ECU what else can I look at, the phase sensor on the distributor?

I know it doesn't have closed loop, it's just a pish Ahmed chip so it's not enabled, that's one of the things I'm getting sorted out before summer. The fans were cutting in but not when the test was done, gonna have a play about with the screw as said, I just wanted to check other things first before I go tamering with it.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

might just need setting up
as quite often when they've been apart like that everything is differant when it goes back together
as said earlier the lambda is irrelevant, the chip isn't looking for it
try setting up c.o
might be worth checking the fuel pressure as well
