any one got any pics of 2.3 deisel for engine

I owned one between 1983 and 1988, but didn't take any photos of it.
It was an old Peugeot designed engine with a few Ford bits bolted on.

a 2.3 sierra engine is a peugeot engine very slow crap engine, the 1.8turbo is alot better,if you need a good diesel engine for a sierra i have got a complete 1,8 turbo engine for sale,

nah was just thinking some thing over as a bloke i know has a petrol engine (rover v8) that started as a deisel and was used to build a petrol race engine because deisel blocks usualy have alot more strength and was wondering if it could be done with a ford

mmmm in my eyes though would it be anygood as the derv engines were not really high reving but a petrol race engine would be...Would the stroke lenth of the bore be upto this...?

the 1.8td was very common
there was 1000's of taxi's with them here
i've personaly owned a few, and a p100 with same engine
there was lots and lots of 1.8td sierra's in the uk

the 1.8 turdo diesel sierra was available in the uk, i had two of them.
even fitted an intercooler to the second one,they didnt have intercoolers as standard
