then as the day got busier, mike r, chip and other familiar faces, didnt talk to much, im shy

mike r took the little bro out and lost it flat in 3rd, ended up flying sideways down the track think my bro filled his nappy

I was well impressed with luke pissing 150 down the back straight!! awesome car!!
Was a really easy going well run day imo and most drivers moved over to let us past in the mr2 so not too much stressing lol

Luke just told me you were the tall guy we talked to for a while after he took me out for a passenger run first thing (9.30ish), so a bit late but hello.

 

Would have liked to have tagged along and seen the cars in action - it was a lovely warm sunny day.
Bedford don't seem to like spectators though

 

The reason Bedford don't like/have spectators is that it isn't a race track like Brands, Silverstone etc so they have no need to have grand stands/spectator areas...

Very true Steve....although when the supercar clubs visit they seem to have quite a few spectators judging from the pics.
Anyway, luckily there's plenty of pics online now

Sorry I was a bit unsociable yesterday I should have come over and said Hello, but I was pretty pissed off in the morning


Was only out 5 laps and the gearbox went bang on me, no 2nd gear, that was my day over....

I managed to get a few passenger rides to cheer me up so thanks to Mike, Have always liked your Escort like it even more now I have been out in it , Steve, that Pug is just a load of fun !! and Lee for letting Chip have a drive of the Westy and me being a passenger. The Westy is awsome, loved being out in it, apart from Dave's helmet was far to big for me

you are brave helen using ya cossie on the track, i would never do that as i would be to worried about it going bang and would not really enjoy it!

 

The engine has never missed a beat everytime I have taken it on track, and I dont hold back either ! It's gearboxes that seem to be my problem

Tho I'am thinking about buying a track day car.

time too convert her too 2wd then that your gearbox problem will be sorted!just have to pick up the rear diff then when it lets go
