does any one know where the temp gauge sender is? an how do i test its working as my temp gauge dont budge? cheers....

bah its on the tip of my tounge. Iam pretty sure it sits just under or above the thermostat housing. Its usually around a 13mm - 15mm socket you can get on the end of it (once you remove the wire from it) very simple thing to replace

i maybe confusing it with zetec or the rs2k but i swear ive seen one sit in the housing of the thermostat - confused.com

I can check when i get in.

i was right just found an old photo of mine, if you locate the thermostat housing the piece of plastic , from memory its the top one thats pointing towards the bulkhead and again around 13mm to 15mm in size and has a connector on the top (squared) usually a couple quid from a motor factors, when replacing you may need to top coolant up again etc
