what volvo is it that uses the same engine but runs more horse power?
the clutch on the volvo is meant to fit straight to the st and cope with more power.(so i have heard) just dont know what volvo it is

the volvos i have found on the net are mostly t5. and they only seem to go to 400bhp,there is s40 that does 11 second 1/4 s.
the engines do not look the same at all,port shapes ect all seem totally different.

They are based around the same basic block design as the 2.3 T5 5-cyl however the one in the focus is more compact & narrower to fit into a smaller engine bay.

 

the clutch you are after is the s60r or v70r,both run 300 bhp out of the box.
i put in a 5 paddle when i got the atb done,non sprung centre, bit judderry but handles the 300 plus bhp ok.
it will kill the dmf in no time though
