Can anyone please help me diagnose a fault?I have a Ford Mondeo mk 3 TDCI Ghia.Recently when I dip my clutch my rear brake lights come on.The brake lights also come on when I press the brakes too.I've changed the bulbs but still it happens.It doesn;t happen all the time but enough for it to be a problem.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Sounds like a wiring loom that mate,i had simliar problem last year because they cant pinpoint the problem your lookin at between £300 - £500 to fix with a autoelectrician unfortunatly.

 

may be worth checking around the pedal box, i've seen one before that done that, adjusted the brake light switch & moved a few wires & it was ok.
different car though.
