I need some help getting rid of a virus or trojan I dunno what it is it keeps comming up every time I connect to the net with IE comming up with this url http://anthonyx.host-dot.com/bah.html (do not click) and then it disconnects my connection any1 know how to get rid of this Ive ran spybot ad aware and norton and it didn't get rid of it just keeps comming back

nope I may format for the 3rd time and get my brother to bring his sp2 update disk before I connect to the internet will this sort it out? also?

 

ive had similar problems lately. ive found virsus' but couldnt quarentine them. i d/l the latest update of norton and that did the trick. just scan the whole of C drive with that and it should get you clean!

Are you on dial up ? or broadband, if dial up I would suggest unpluging your modem cable before continuing.

1st things 1st, run 2 or 3 virus scanners, i would reccommend norton 2005, avg 6 or 7, and mcafee 8, then, run ad aware and spybot, and then, clean boot your system (i can tell you how to do that if needed)

 

and get the mcafee (sp?) firewall . its free to download

 

done that but im downloading a load of diffrent scanners right now can't believe how much attacks your pc and just after a format ffs whats with the internet

 

problem with having the bugs on there tho - it stopped me downloading the new scanners!!

keep trying - took me ages to sort mine out!
