My last cossie was lavished with money from me and still pissed me off to the point i didnt wanna drive the fucker
Everything possible was done to keep it reliable and sweet from the minute i got it, all sensors were changed plugs leads etc ect all the best of stuff, serviced every 3k regardless
and they still treat ye like a cock
but when there running its fucking awsome

heres my 2 pence being honest cossie are reliable at 300 bhp they will last allday all night
when i bought my 3dr in 1992 Martin tuned to 330 bhp on the greens (l8,T3 grpa 0611 gasket , wire rung block , ect
it lasted for yrs i never put a spanner on it ,only genral service i gave the car loads of abuse on the road and on the track,
when i went to 400bhp i broke everything gearbox, rear diff, you name it
i should have stayed at 330bhp
dont get me wrong the car is reliable now and has been for ages because it has the right parts on it

i was doing good
i managed to stay away for nearly 4 years
then las october i finaly gave into my cravings
and bought a saphy
i've currently got 3 saphs(already) and thinking of buying an escort
i to promised i was finished with them and was glad to see the back of mine,
then the cravings started,
before you know it you only remember the good bits,
we've all got the bug, might as well just go with it, what the hell eh?

I can barely see the light at the end of the tunnel for version 3.0 of my 3 door (8 years later) and I've gone and bought a Saff to "do" next. The wife wonders if I need help...

Even after driving a few recently whilst looking for one and admitting they cant even compare to my more recent rides , i still keep looking at them and think about swapping the bm for one
Ive done well tho , managed to stay away for nearly 4 years .
I blame this place
