I did a stupid thing yesterday.

After picking up a colleague from Waverley I turned left onto Princes Street and was half way along before I realised it was buses and taxis only!

I honestly have no idea how I missed the signs (because I could see them clear as day when I dropped her back at the station in the afternoon).

Anyone know if the have enforcement cameras (I think they are the ones that look like little white tubes, mounted in pairs on poles), how quickly I should hear (car is registered to one company, leased to another and allocated to me) and what my penalty will be?

Not sure about heading to the west end, but........ in the desperate bid to get home quicker i've gone the other direction a couple of times (Both times at Dark O'clock) and never heard anything ? Might just have been lucky though.

I've never been fined or subjected to any enforcement up that part of town but to be honest I've never driven past that MASSIVE, ILLUMINATED stop sign that next to the MASSIVE cars and buses only sign LOL

Without taking the piss though i think its a case of being caught in the act so to speak, i dont know anybody been charged in retrospect. There are no signs indicating enforcement cameras so i would assume there isn't any, despite their stupidity CEC aren't too bad at forewarning you of any traps.
