Can stainless steel be welded onto the (casted?) original ford exhaust manifold? i'm having doubts to think that it can but need to know...

also what types of welder would do the job, MIGs?, TIGs?

depends what the manifold is made off
rsturbo ones carnt there shite cast metal
cozzy ones can there hi grade cast
tig is needed and martooon does this for his wastegate covertoins

 

it's from a 2.0DOHC sierra.. so prob crappy cast metal effort?
