steve, yep very nice to drive, loads of low down power
macca, power was over 600bhp...possibly as much as 675 to propel that lardy lux pack up the 1/4 in that time/speed
front diff was a quaiffe thickwall with atb unit but the thickwall casing shat its pants and broke, changed to a 7" R+D unit but only used the car a couple of times after that before i broke it up.
Yep it is the red one on piston heads

No i do all my work myself, apart from engine building, clive and roy from rjm are very good friends of mine though,you might have seen one of my cars there as i,m in to visit regularly

clive and roy used to work on my blue cossie celica that i had a few years ago before i moved back across the water to edinburgh. your car seems familiar. i was thinking it was from there as i remember looking over one that looked the similar that was big power when i was in one day.
this was my celica, it was in RJM a lot as i was quite good at breaking it.....

Red is THE colour and Ronnies are THE wheels for them IMO.
Saw it on pistonheads and was rather tempted myself but I have enough on with my shonky old shuvit.

fuzzy, if it was mine maybe in for an mot? it was petrol blue, i remember seeing your celica in there
started collecting some bits already for convering it cam, have most of the stuff already though
macca, yes 245x40 x18,s road tyres, pump fuel and some gas was consistently running 10.3 10.4,10.5s @over 140mph terminals
