No matter what they do they will never be an RS.

Never realised F.1 cars had full leather interiors.

"The full leather interior was done by all wheel trim in whitney who do formula one car trimming for companys such as redbull racing and renault which shows the quality involved"

That body kit reduces the car's value..... to ........ zero....in my opinion.... wouldn't have thought that re-trim would have cost more than £1k tops either.

Its an abomination to the cabriolet.

here we go again with what someone has spent on his car, dont any of you think that some of ths 37k spent on it has been from diffrent change's in the past not how it look's now as one member has said in his reply that the car has been changed a few time's. how many of you have wasted shit loads on your gearbox's diffs etc for your car because you couldnt be botherd to spend the right money on the right part's in the first place then say ive spent 20k on my cosworth etc in the past but yet have fook all to show for it....

there is sod all wrong with that cab at all, it just has the wrong kit fitted, if the bumper's were standard and it had a s2 kit on it along with standard rear lamps it would look o.k, oh lets not forget that sticker on the side of it............

Looks like he paid for everything to be done, hence the £35k.

Id say at least half of that is labour.

the other £17,500 ?? well looking at the car you can see how it adds up.

Fair play for the chap for sticking the project through, surley at some point he must have thought shit this is hideous, but i can't stop now!

Bit like a captin going down with his ship

Its probably worth £3000 k with the what looks like a well build engine, but youd have to spend a further £3K to get it look half decent, and then you still have the issue of it being a cab

There is definitely a large proportion of PF regulars who are closet Barry Boys fans! Each to their own I say!

I think he needs a reality check. The last two Escort Cabs I have had were both really nice and original cars and I sold one for £1,000 and one for £600. The chance of getting anything near £9500 are zero.

Well it certainly isn't to my taste, but what's been done has obviously done professionally. But who in their right mind is going to pay that sort of money for an Escort Cabriolet. Even in good times it would be worth anywhere near to that but at the moment it'll be a struggle to sell it at any price.

Erm... Don't think I'm a million miles off that with mine over the 14 years I've owned it if you include rebuilds and mods.

AS has been said further up it does look like it's been done to a high standard but that doesn't mean it's been done to a tastefull standard

I hate it, not to my taste at all, but im sure it has had a lot of money spent on it.
It just hasnt had that money inteligently spent, and I bet the 37K includes 3 different resprays and 5 sets of wheels etc anyway, there is no way what is sat there would need to cost 37K to replicate if anyone had bad enough taste to want to.

Proof positive that if you spend money with companies who havent got a fucking clue what they are doing you can go round and round in circles and end up with a load of fucking shite at the end of it.

If you had dropped your car off at reyland with 40K in cash, you'd now have an awesome car at the end of it.
