well, if you've experienced the same symptoms from 2 totaly seperatly different tuners, both from the same area of the essex part of the u of k, then perhaps it's going to start an epidemic

taken from his website

"Engine Building

Our engine builder has many years experience in the building of performance engines at competition level. He has built engines for the Focus WRC and Hyundai WRC to name but a couple.

He has built numerous impressive power Cosworth engines, putting out power of up to 570bhp, as well as dipping into Cosworth WRC and Duratec Rally X engines. He has also built engines for a Vauxhall 2.16v XE and a 400bhp Nissan Pulsar engine and of course our 400bhp Focus RS engine."

he forgets to mention they'll make 570hp for only a few minutes before they implode

I couldnt possibly comment. It might give him a complex! But the sniff involves a small syncronised twitch of the nose prior to the display of the sniff. Its an "I am secretly embarrassed about the amount I am about to take from you" sniff.

Trust me...this nervous medical condition prior to large currency request does exist. I have seen it and witnessed its devastating power over a bank balance.

Maybe, but some of us have a fucking good reason for it. I personally have a very very good valid and personal and financial reason. And obviously so do a few others! Otherwise, he would still be trading!

Hmm....very true. Very true indeed. All tuners have had their failures and problems.

However, i did have an engine go pop. In fact it went snap, crackle and pop.......then kaboom!

I suppose it's down to how blatant your fuck ups are. We all make mistakes, we are human, not robot. However, some of their blunders are legendary.

Wasn't it them that fitted the External Wastegate to the EGR pipework?

Thats so true

Ah yes the good old 2 x 400+bhp FRS they built

Always remember the mag features for them where the engines were described by the mags as being "bulletproof" & "built up from genuine unbreakable WRC parts" including cgi block, etc

Funny how those 2 FRS with their "bulletproof" & "indestructable" engines have been rebuilt god knows how many times normally after a rolling road run or after being taken back to EA on the back of a lorry after they expired at one of the few thrash days they attended with them

Oh & before anyone complains about people being anti EA i've also had experience of them - was one of the first companies i took my FRS to when i bought it in early 2006 - asked them to tune the car & they fitted a bleed valve & titted about with the actuator - 2 weeks later at a rolling road day i found that the car was running 30+ psi on my standard gt25 turbo & afr's were so bad car was risking melting the internals

Lets just say that was the day i started seeking the advice of better tuners & people like Ian Howell
