As above,anyone work for the ambulance service is a A+E support officer the ones that drive the zafiras etc?as these tend to go to the non life threatening 999 calls,or are these still paramedics?

I was under impression all the fast response vehicles were usually paramedics at the wheel.

Unless its a new name for "first responders" as some areas have first responders qualified in advanced first aid and defib course but not quite paramedics.

looks like a half paramedic job to keep paramedics on the priority jobs. IE your sent to non emergency calls or low priority to assess from there.

I cant remember what they call them else where.
