what size battery cable?

im moving my battery to the boot so just wondered what size cable i would need as i know some of you on here have done this.

40mm^2, 300A is what I've used.

didnt think it was that big

just looked on the demon tweeks website and the only battery cable they have got is 16mm and 20mm

What jammy says is about right anywhere between 40mm/2 and 60mm/2

What about ripping it out an E36 bmw in scrapper, My M3 had battery in boot, as per all 6 pots I think, would be thick old cable running to engine bay?

Only looked once but thick cable was fuck off expensive?!

Mine was £4.60 a meter from Auto Electrical Supplies. Seems good enough stuff to me, I didn't want to scrimp with 25mm^2 and risk a fire.
