We had 2 days there last year, we stopped about 5 miles away (holiday inn from memory). Not a bad place to go for the kids, gets very very very busy in the summer, the queues for the bigger rides get a bit OTT, and they aint as slickly run as the likes of alton towers etc etc.

The key is get in the park as soon as they open, do the bigger rides first (there aint many LOL) then see the rest of the park at your leisure.

My kids were 8 and 4 at the time, they had a nice time there, but said they still preffered Alton towers..

Theres nearly always some promotion or other for half price tickets. Think you might be able to cash in Tesco Clubcard vouchers to get in too.

We've been twice and both times paid 1/2 price.

Awesome place, but as above, avoid the queues.

We got a discount family ticket off lastminute.com or somewhere like that when we went last
