From what ive heard from people in america i speak to on hip hop forums, its a good film, but a lot of it isnt true. lil kim has been kicking off about they have portrayed her in the film, puffy said there was few things he wasnt happy with, and even miss wallace has said she had one or two issues with it. ill defo still be watching it though, bigs a legend, he had the greatest rap voice ive ever heard.

Theres loads about the biggie v tupac, death row v bad boy, east v west situation, ive got/seen them all. theres so many different storys you dont know which one to beleive. theres been everything from undercover police doing it, the crips and bloods did it, it was suge who got pac killed as he owed him millions etc etc etc etc. the only conclution ive come to is they both died for nothing, pointless waste of life, of possible the two best rappers ever.

I have seen it, The guy who plays Biggie does a great job, there are something l do not think are true like the way Puffy finds Biggie, but the music is wicked, dont take it to serious and enjoy the music and you will like it,
And Li Kim is a filthy bitch in it

think he was well overrated myself, I do not think he would have half the attention or acclaim he receives if he was still alive.
There most certainly would not have been a film about his life imho
Death can be great career move

tupac or biggie..
hmmm tupac for me.
Dont get me wrong bigz was a real good rapper but tupac had that lyrical edge over bigz.
both were extremly goor rapers and imo had a big role in creating todays rap.
The one group that did live on the legacy of biggy and pac was bone thugs n harmony.. they had that old school beat which i miss in todays rap.
forgot to say im going to watch the film aswel would rather see a movie on pacs life tho

just seeing the actors shows me it's going to be shite, and stupidly wide of the mark. Enough time as passed now they can try make Biggie a household character, and they're trying....hard
If you're not into his music or don't really know the background don't take ANY of the film as gospel...all just for $$ and publicity.

It was all a dream
I used to read Word Up magazine
Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped
Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match...............
My favorite of his

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
i just find it differcult to accept when he is even compared to pac. How can they be compared..and for people to say he was better than pac is a joke... Tupac was around for a much longer period, and released far more albums(alive) than biggie did. Therefore you know pac was not a fluke. He produced countless hit records.Even with the material released after his death,it was still really good stuff.(another 8 albums or so worth.
How could you turn around and say that biggie was the greatest rapper when he'd only released ONE album??????although his second album was better than the first in my opinion, it still only really had a handful of very good tunes. The majority were average and nothing special.... Considering hip hop wasnt mainstream back then, biggie sold 2 million albums which is massive sales, yet pac's all eyes on me sold 5 million!!!! so like i said for them to be compared is a bit silly really.I do like biggie,i just find him very over rated and the only reason i took note of him was because of tupac. I might go and watch the film, but i can see its going to be very very distorted from the truth......
Shame really as i find it quite disrespectful from his friends and family to try and make his life sound a bit better just to make money out off his short life.

I think they were rapping in two very different styles, biggie flowed more and was quite often more up beat up tempo and Tupac was more serious, so l personally do not compare them, l have pretty much all of both their albums at home and listen to them when l am in different moods.

Biggie is not even in the same league as Tupac.
All he ever did was rap about robbing. Bitches and dealing, which apparently was all made up anyway as when he was younger he used to rap to his few friends and did not sell drugs whatsoever, Unlike Tupac.
Ive seen every documentary and have all the music of both rappers and in my opinion there is no comparison.
Tupac Shakur Is the greatest rapper of all time.
Oh and i think tupac was killed either over money or beacuse he beat up a crip
Orlando Anderson, the Crip whom Shakur had attacked, fired the fatal shots. Las Vegas police discounted Anderson as a suspect and interviewed him only once, briefly. He was later killed in an unrelated gang shooting.
Biggie was then killed in gang warfare to revenge tupac killing because idiots thought he had something to do with it.
That is what i think happened.
I live life High Speed
Slightly disillusioned by weed
I breed thug muthafuckas even worse than me
When I bleed, my enemies best to flee quickly, on me
My army, niggaz decieve swiftly
Penetentiaries is packed with promise makers
Never realize the precious time the bitch niggaz is wastin
Instutionalized I lived my life a product made to crumble
But too hardened for a smile, we're too crazy to be humble, we ballin
Catch me father please, cause I'm fallin, in the liquor store
That's the Hennessey I hear ya callin, can I get some more?
Hail til I reach Hell, I ain't scared
Mama checkin in my bedroom; I ain't there
I got a head with no screws in it, what can I do
One life to live but I got nuttin to lose, just me and you
on a one way trip to prison, sellin drugs
We all wrapped up in this livin, life as Thugs
Biggie and Tupac were friends in there youth and i have a clip of them rapping together when they was younger, most of it was just escelated by the press like the Nas And Jay z thing
and the 50 cent and The Game stuff.
controversy sells records and tupac was the best at creating controversy
This is all only the opinion of a once boyhood rap addict and fan lol. You tend to grow out of all that bollocks and just apreciate the music as you get older.

Can't we all just get along!!!!!! lol
Went and saw this Sunday night and to be honest was a little dissapointed however it told a story and that's all you expected. The best bit was when they used real footage which they should have used more, (dancing at his funeral).
Bad point: The representation off Tupac was shocking they spent all the effort getting a good biggie look-a-like and then screw it with Tupac's
Good point: lil kim in the film was really hot!!!!
I get the feeling a Tupac life story will follow shortly.

WTF, Big was known for being a good kid, went to school, had a job packing shopping at a local supermarket in brooklyn, his mother used to buy him the latest games consoles etc to keep him in the house and away from the ' hood ', plenty of people have been interviewed who knew chris wallace, the real person, not ' biggie ' the rapper, and they all say he was a good person, regardless of what he says in his records, he didnt kill nobody, didnt sell drugs, didnt rob people, non of the ' hood ' shit he rapped about, it was bravado, he was just good at telling storys like most rappers are. as they get famous, they have to start acting a certain way, even if there not really like that, its the ' keep it real ' factor, if people dont believe you, they wont buy your records because your ' fake ', its one of the only industry's that doing something bad is actually a good career move, if justin timberlake slaps somebody, it would be a bad career move, the girls he caters to in his music wouldnt like that, but if jay z slaps somebody, it adds to his reputation as a real ' hood nig*a '. now im not saying all rappers are upstanding members of the community, far from it, some of there criminal records will back that up, but, dont believe everything you hear on a record, as 80 percent of rap is either made up or its a story been told by a rapper that happened to someone else, or a story he has heard. there are VERY few rappers who are actually what they say they are on there records. take ' the game ' for instance, he's a big ' gangster ', or thats what he portrays in his records, well, when was the last time you seen a ' gangster ' on blind date ?, which he was on the american version of before he started rapping, that goes back to my point about rappers acting a certain way when they get famous, they have to act ' gangster ' or they dont sell records, and thats what the music industry is all about, selling records.
