Are the Cable operated and Hydraulic operated Clutches essentially the same in the MTX transmissions?

In other words, would a 240mm Clutch be compatible with Cable operation, I assume cars with the 240mm Clutches (Focus RS, bigger engine Focus' etc) were all Hydraulic?

I aren't bothered about converting to Hydraulic Clutch for the sake of it, but do want to go 240mm.

id imagine so christian as the release bearings do the same job accept one is manully operated, someone please correct me if im wrong?

i think the cvh hydrolic gearboxes have the same clutch if thats of any help, same theory though, poss a parts retailer could help?
