Default towing frame (one man towing)

been looking at getting one of these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EXTENDABLE-CAR...1%7C240%3A1308

whats the law on useing one of these?

a mate of mine said that the car im pulling has to be taxed insured and moted as all 4 wheels are on the ground

yet i mentioned this to a bloke at work and he said that as there is no direct driver the car is classed as a trayler.

he also said if you was pulling a 4 wheeled trayler does that mean that it needs to be tax insured ect ect ect witch i thort was a good point

i have had a quick look on the net yet can not get many ancers?

any idears

Just buy a dolly mate least you know for sure its legal then as 2 wheels are off the ground.

To be fair I wouldn't feel confident towing with that at all.

Not legal as it becomes an unbraked trailer over 750kg which is not allowed.

Dollies are for local recovery only, still fall foul of insufficient braking even if the dolly has brakes.
