As if removing a fornicating dull v6 in a very low state of tune and replacing it with a 500 bhp plus YB is sacrelidge! Both Hadlands Mondeo and Kev's Engine in a mondeo would defacate down the throat of the stock v6 in terms of noise and performance. I think you'll find my little button that most people will agree with me.
When was the last time you stood next to a 500bhp YB at WOT?

Benni, Kev asked which car his 500bhp engine should go in, I said Mondeo.......nobody cares about a 220bhp v6....give up. Mondeo isnt such a bad plan seeing as Hadland has had fairly impressive results so if its a bad idea go tell him. Perhaps I should have said ST Kitted Base model Mk3 mondeo, then you'd have shut the fuck up!

Just to add, as IF I care about an internet site! Of the limited amount of members i've met off her i'm sure you wont get a bad report off any of them...I certainly dont need to earn respect from it, so dont make out you're holier than thou when it comes to respect and behaviour on here.......after all its not like I have respect from seeing pictures of my shits, or naked with my button knob hanging out on the crapper or with a toothbrush up my ass is it. i,m still liking the old granada scorpio idea, it would be more or less a straight fit with a pair of 2.0 granada engine mounts etc.....
just for the comedy factor.....i did something similar 15 years ago, i dropped a 330bhp cossie engine and running gear into a scrapper of a 1.6L Creg sierra, and went to knockhill hot hatch day with it....you could see folk sniggering at the car as they walked past...till it had been out on the track

..i have been looking...unfortunateley along with the rusty arches will have rotten rear chassis legsLOL, somethinglike that would do but a nicer one...pref manual to save changing pedal box...not that thats a major issue

a freind of mine had a 280bhp ish yb in a old e plate white rusty granada it was the best laugh ever, watchin all the peoples faces in other modded cars as we left them for dead at traffic lights etc

col, been checking weights...a 2.9 granada is only 80kg more than a saff cossie..a 2.0 is only 18kg heavier
