Doug - nope, no cream to take the pain away!!
The laser breaks up the ink under your skin, your skins natural anti-bodies then 'wash' away the broken up ink... its just a very slow process

OUCH !!! Glad I dont have tattoos !!!
As some of you may know, I dabble a bit in lasers.
I just took a video of one of my high power lasers I use in a night club.
I have disabled all the safetys and turned the power up and the object in front of it is a peice of grey ceramic tile at a distance of 5 feet.
I am holding it with my hand and not looking as the glare would burn my eyes out.
If I held it still, it would punch straight through in a few seconds.
The power of this laser is 8 watts... (very powerfull)....
As a comparison a laser pointer is typically 0.004 of a laser watt. ...LOL
My biggest laser is 5 times more powerfull than this one.. (40 watts )

Is it me or does the arm one look rather lighter this time though. I was thinking about you today Maria, not sure whether I told you one of my mates had his lasered off. You can still just about see them because you know where they were, but only just, it's a lot better and it doesn't look scarred at all.
ps thanks for the belly shot again.

The arm one kinda looks like a keloid.....buts it not.
Good thing about it is that normally you get good scarring under blisters, the clear fluid is just serum and should keep it free from infection. If its got pus in there i'd be tempted to clean it out asap as its already infected.
P.S. Double ouch.
